RPD Lt. Aaron Colletti was struck by a car and killed while on a bike ride with his son Jadon in Bristol, NY on June, 11th 2021. He left behind his wife Tammy, and their four children, Noble, Jadon, Ella and Emily. Aaron was a very accomplished Lieutenant with the RPD, and had been recognized many times for his actions throughout his career. Above all, Aaron was a great man of faith, and was an incredible example of someone who lived his life "God and Family". Aaron was an incredible Father and Husban, and was the sole financial provider for his family. In the day's leading up to June 11, 2020, Aaron met a man who was holding a sign in front of the Public Safety Building that read "I'm Praying For You". He spoke with this man for over two hours in getting to know him. On Aaron's last day, June 11, 2020, he led a prayer group with this same man, and many others, in front of the Public Safety Building.
