About
ITALEO was founded in 1993 by Officer Frank Coriddi of the Rochester NY Police Dept. It began as a social organization for sworn law enforcement officers of Italian descent. Today ITALEO has expanded to over 180 members, including retired officers and civilians of any ethnic origin. As we now approach the 30th anniversary of our association, we continue to honor and support our heritage and law enforcement by declaring ourselves a non-profit 501c3 charitable organization. To add to our growing organization, we proudly announce the launch of the Officer Relief Fund est. in 2021. This will offer a substantial donation to local officers and their families in need, along with our Shield of Knowledge college scholarship designed to support a members child who is attending college.
Our organization has been called upon to support causes involving fallen or severely injured officers and their families.
